What is the ITC Usherwood® font?

ITC Usherwood was created by Leslie Usherwood and released in 1984. It is a roman design with the classical trait of ascenders that are taller than the capitals, but has a very large x-height.
ITC Usherwood is useful both for short text blocks and display work such as headlines, posters, and invitations.
